Looking for a beginner-friendly way to try snowshoeing in Montreal? Join us for a mindful snowshoe hike on Mont Royal, where you’ll learn the basics of snowshoeing while exploring nature through mindfulness and ecotherapy practices.
This event is a chance to learn the basics of snowshoeing while exploring the forest in a calm, meaningful way. Together, we’ll combine physical activity with mindfulness practices that help us slow down, connect with nature, and recharge during the winter season.
We will meet at the Beaver Lake Pavilion, where you can rent snowshoes if needed. The cost of the event does not include rentals. You may bring your own, or rent them on-site for $14 for 2 hours. Rentals are on a first-come, first-served basis, so please arrive early if you need equipment.

During our time together, I’ll share snowshoeing basics and beginner-friendly tips. As we walk through the trails, I’ll guide the group in mindfulness practices and ecotherapy exercises. We’ll pause to notice our senses, breathe with the rhythm of our steps, and enjoy a moving meditation that helps us stay grounded and fully present in the beauty of Mont Royal’s winter landscape.
