SUMMARY:Making Peace with Impermanence - Weekend Retreat
DESCRIPTION:English below / Français plus bas\nMaking Peace with Impermane
nce\nA weekend of mindful presence\, connection with nature\, and deep refl
ection\nEverything changes. Seasons turn\, bodies age\, relationships evolv
e\, and grief finds its way into our lives — until\, one day\, each of us
faces our own mortality. Yet we often spend much of our lives resisting ch
ange rather than embracing it.\nThis weekend is an invitation to slow down
and gently explore our relationship with change\, grief\, aging\, and death
 . Through guided meditation\, silence\, mindful forest walks\, experiential
practices\, and group dialogue\, we'll create space to meet life's realiti
es with presence and humanity — discovering that vulnerability itself can
become a place of transformation.\nThe group is intentionally limited to 1
2 participants\, fostering intimacy\, trust\, and depth so everyone can mov
e at their own pace. No previous experience is necessary.\n📍 Location: A
uberge La Salamandre\, Eastern Townships\, Québec👥 Group size: Maximum
12 participants🧘 Facilitated by: Dr. Moire Stevenson\, Clinical Psycholo
 gist\, and Jean-Philippe Turgeon\, end-of-life and grief companion\n\nThis
is an all-inclusive retreat with catering provided by Veganessa\nTransport
ation:\nTransportation is not provided by the retreat. If you do not have a
car available\, there is a bus line through LimoCar that takes you to Bro
mont Autoparc 74\, which is 15 minutes from the retreat centre. If you plan
to take LimoCar to Bromont\, please contact us at contact@mindfulnessoutdo
ors.org and we will help coordinate a ride for you from the bus station in
Bromont to the retreat center.\n\nWe will send out an email to participant
s to organize carpooling about 1 week prior to the event.\n\nFor carpooling
\, we also encourage you to check our Facebook page to coordinate with ot
hers.\n\n\n\nIMPORTANT TO KNOWIt is important to understand that you attend
these events at your own risk. Most of the activities are relatively low im

 rg\nMeet Your Guide: Jean-Philippe Turgeon\nJean-Philippe's path has been a
nything but conventional — from producing some of Quebec's top comedians
to co-founding alternative pain management clinics\, guiding youth through
marathon-length expeditions across the Atacama Desert\, the Pindus Mountain
s\, and California's Lost Coast. These journeys shaped a deep connection to
nature and human resilience\, and a belief that real growth happens when w
e step outside our comfort zone.\nToday\, Jean-Philippe is the founder of H
ubblo\, bringing immersive dome experiences to audiences seeking wonder and
connection. For the past five years\, he has also volunteered in palliativ
e care and grief support\, accompanying individuals and families through li
fe's most vulnerable moments — work informed by training in spiritual car
 e\, mindfulness\, shamanic traditions\, and humanistic hypnosis.\nAt the he
art of it all: helping people reconnect — with themselves\, with nature\,
and with each other.\n\nFaire la paix avec l'impermanence\nUn weekend de p
 st nécessaire.\n📍 Lieu : Auberge La Salamandre\, Cantons-de-l'Est\, Qu
 nessoutdoors.org\nRencontrez votre guide : Jean-Philippe Turgeon\nLe parcou
